Beth (Or EB, short for Elizabeth) has been writing and drawing for over two decades and is ready to bring many of her stories to the page in their complete form.  She is also an art educator working part time in the historic town of Hillsboro, Virginia with Hillsboro Charter Academy. Mornings are for writing and drawing, afternoons for running her art studio for students K-5.

Early art influences for Beth were Edward Gorey-remember the prone kerchief waving damsel in distress on the tombstone at the beginning of Masterpiece Theatre? (She does.) Quentin Blake, Sempe, Nadine Bernard Wescott, Fernando Krahn, Roz Chast, and Ray Cruz to name a few.

Her favorite book growing up was The House With the Clock In Its Walls (yes, Gorey illustrated) by John Bellairs. First place she went when she got her drivers license? The library, of course.
